Dubbed Capital One Academic All-America® First Team for the second straight season … also namd the GLVC Football Scholar Athlete of the Year ... All-GLVC First Team at safety … presented the National Football Foundation Collegiate Award by the NFF's Central Indiana Chapter ... led the team with three interceptions while ranking fourth with 57 tackles … one of five team captains … garnered both the team's Defensive MVP honor as well as its Mental Attitdue Award … returned an interception 30 yards versus at Southwest Baptist (9/20) … racked up a career-high 15 tackles in the Hounds' nationally-televised quadruple-overtime win versus Saint Joseph's (10/30) … named Preseason Second Team All-America by USA Football Network … also listed on the Indianapolis Star's All-Indiana Team during the preseason, honoring college football players (at any school, any level) from the Hoosier State.

Named to the Capital One Academic All-America® Division II First Team by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) … collected second straight All-GLVC Second Team nod … also voted team's Defensive Back of the Year ... racked up 47 total tackles from the safety position … tied for the GLVC lead with four interceptions on the season … key part of a UIndy defensive unit that ranked first in Division II in scoring defense (13.3 ppg), second in passing defense (157.7 ypg) and fifth in total defense (282.5 ypg) … also credited with six pass break-ups and one forced fumble … set a season high with 12 tackles at Division I Drake (9/21) … had a 68-yard interception return for a TD at McKendree (10/12) … also had a 23-yard INT return in the fourth quarter in a 27-24 win at Saint Joseph’s (11/2) … had seven tackles and a forced fumble in the team’s GLVC-title-clinching win versus Truman State (11/16) … also named Academic All-GLVC.

2012
Switched to No. 8 after wearing No. 16 as a freshman ... garnered Second Team All-GLVC laurels at free safety ... started all 13 games while amassing 44 total tackles ... scored second career touchdown with a 56-yard fumble return at Quincy (9/15); in doing so became only the second Greyhound in the last 30 years* to record a touchdown return on both a fumble and an interception in his career ... had six stops and a forced fumble in a win at Missouri S&T (9/29) ... recorded a season-high seven tackles at Urbana (11/10) ... named Academic All-GLVC.

2011
Saw time in nine games as a freshman, including garnering first collegiate start versus Saginaw Valey State (10/15) ... recorded two fourth-quarter interceptions against SVSU, taking one 45 yards to the house to help seal a 29-20 win.

HIGH SCHOOL
Capped a 14-1 senior season by leading Fishers a 38-19 win against Lawrence Central in the IHSAA Class 5A state champioship game, FHS’s first-ever football title … two-way player for the Tigers started at both quarterback and safety … finished 2010 with 2,236 yards and 32 touchdowns as a passer;  874 yards and 10 TDs rushing; and 30 tackles, four interceptions and 108 INT return yards as a defender … threw for 191 yards and four touchdowns while also notching a 45-yard interception return in the state final game … garnered 2010 Hamilton County Player of the Year honors as the only player to be named all-county on both offense and defense … also named to the Indianapolis Star Super Team and the Indiana Football Coaches Association Top 50…Wendy’s High School Heisman finalist and runner-up for the 2010 Indiana Mr. Football … bestowed the IHSAA Class 5A Phil N. Eskew Mental Attitude Award … also a three-year letterman on the baseball team … member of the National Honor Society … one of just 62 Indiana high school students named a 2010-11 IHSAA Role Model as an anti-tobacco advocate.
