Coons joins the Greyhound staff for the 2019 season after concluding his four-year career at Lindenwood University in 2017.
The Carmel native returns home to the Circle City after enjoying a successful playing career with the Lions, amassing 87 goals and 46 assists in 53 games. Coons scored a career-high 30 goals and dished out a career-best 19 assists as a sophomore in 2015, while also scooping up 27 ground balls as an attacker. Coons ranked in the top three at Lindenwood his final three seasons in total points.
Prior to Lindenwood, Coons was a two-time all-state honoree at Carmel while the team won back-to-back state titles. He was named the 2011 state tournament MVP, and was tabbed a two-time All-American.
