In his tenth year of coaching with local club Westside United, Josh George enters his first year as a volunteer assistant on John Higgins' UIndy staff.

The Director of Coaching with Westside United for 4 years now, George has coached the 93 Green Boys (2008-2009-2010-2011 State Champions, 2012 State Semi-Finalist, 2009-2010 Regional Semi-Finalist), WSU 99 Green Boys (State Semi-Finalist 2011) WSU 96 Green Boys (State Champs 2007, Finalist in 2008, 2009, 2010, and semi-finalist in 2012).  All of his players from the WSU 93 team moved on to play college soccer at various levels. George also has coached the WSU 94 Green Boys who were semi-finalist in 2010 in the State Cup.  He has trained kids that have gone on to play at state, regional, and national level in ODP as well as developing players that currently play at the D1, D2, D3, and NAIA levels. George currently coaches the WSU 99 Green Boys, WSU 96 Green Boys, and WSU 2004 Green Girls at Westside United.  George was the varsity assistant coach at Zionsville High School in 2007 before taking over as the Director of Coaching for Westside United. 

A local product that played at the high school level in Danville, George is a UIndy alum who earned four letters in a Greyhound uniform from 2003-06. He currently holds his USSF National 'D' license, and will be obtaining his 'C' in the near future. He has his National Youth License and his NSCAA National License 'C', and also has served on the Indiana ODP staff as a trainer.  George was a fifth grade teacher before taking on the full-time role of Director of Coaching at Westside United this past June.  George is married to his wife, Cary, and has two daughters, Chloe and Isabella.
