UIndy Athletics

Former UIndy basketball player Tarryn Montgomery enters her fifth season as a full-time assistant in 2015-16 after spending the '10-'11 campaign as a graduate assistant.  In addition to on-court coaching, Montgomery handles camp coordination, game scouting, and alumni relations.

As a player, Montgomery was a guard on the UIndy squad in 2005-06 and 2006-07. After graduating in May of 2007, Montgomery played overseas for the BG Rentrop Women’s Professional Basketball team in Bonn, Germany during the fall of 2007.

Prior to returning to UIndy, Montgomery was a substitute teacher in the Wayne Township area.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Marketing from UIndy and is currently working towards a master’s in Applied Sociology.
