Deanna Williams

Deanna (McClure) Williams begins her third stint on the UIndy coaching staff in 2010.  After assisting Head Coach Jody Butera during the 2005 and 2007 seasons, Williams will again be working with the hitters and setters this year  She also helps in planning and executing practices while also assisting with recruiting.

Williams was a standout setter for UIndy in her playing days (2001-04), finishing as the school’s all-time record holder in assists.  She helped the Greyhounds to their first-ever GLVC title and NCAA appearance in 2003 and was named second team all-conference in ’04.  Her 4,392 career assists still rank second in the UIndy annals.

Williams earned a B.S. in Marketing (’05) and an MBA in Finance (’08), both from UIndy.  A captain in the U.S. army, she is currently a logistics officer for the Indiana Army National Guard.
