On tap:  UIndy takes its three-game winning streak on the road, battling Ashland on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.  The Greyhounds have rebounded from a 1-5 start to post a winning streak and attempt to get back to .500 with a win over the host Eagles.

Series history: Ashland holds the all-time lead in the series between the schools, 18-10.  The Eagles have won the past two games, but are just 5-6 in the last 11 with the Greyhounds.  The last 15 meetings between the teams have come in the final two weeks of the season.

About Ashland: AU shares an identical overall record with the Greyhounds at 4-5 this season.  Ashland is in the midst of a two-game slide and four defeats in their past five ball games.  All four of AU's losses in GLIAC play came to opponents that UIndy also lost to (Hillsdale, Wayne State, Saginaw Valley, Grand Valley).

About AU Head Coach Lee Owens:  Owens is in his sixth season at the helm of the Eagle program, compiling a 39-25 record in that span.  His 2008 Eagles were 9-4, despite an 0-2 start, and made the NCAA playoffs for the second straight season.

About UIndy Head Coach Joe Polizzi:  Polizzi, now in his 16th season, is 84-87-1 in his tenure at UIndy.  Polizzi has collected eight winning seasons in that time, including three of the last four.

Regional Rankings:  The second edition of the NCAA Super Regional 3 rankings were released Monday, and UIndy has the distinction of playing four of those teams.  Five GLIAC teams are ranked, including: Saginaw Valley State (5), Wayne State (6), Findlay (7), Hillsdale (8) and Grand Valley State (9).  Minnesota State, Mankato continues to top the rankings with the lone undefeated mark (7-0) in the region.

National Rankings:  Several Greyhounds find themselves in the national rankings through seven weeks.  Ryan Forney is the ninth-leading punt returner in D-II, averaging 15.6 yards per return.  Rob Doyle is 42nd in passing efficiency (136.43).

A New Rushing Leader is Bourne:
Freshman Patrick Bourne, despite garnering carries in just four games this season, is the new team leader in rushing for the year.  After a career-high 137-yard effort in the win vs. Tiffin last week, Bourne now has 374 yards for the season and a 4.9 yards-per-rush average, both tops on the club.  His rushing TD last week also game him the team-lead in rushing scores (3) this season.  UIndy is 4-0 when Bourne registers a carry.

TD-squared:
Sophomore QB Rob Doyle has thrown two touchdown passes in each of the past four games.  He's accomplished the feat five times this season.  The Greyhounds are 5-1 when Doyle throws for two touchdown passes.

Homecoming Highlights:
Last week's 21-17 win over Tiffin in the homecoming game marked the fourth straight win for UIndy in its homecoming game.  More significant, Indianapolis has won the past three in come-from-behind efforts, erasing second-half leads to garner victory.  Stephen Geller's 38-yard TD reception late in the third quarter finally put UIndy on top for good last week.

Sack Attack:
The Hounds recorded a season-best six sacks versus Tiffin, all six credited to a different member of the defense.  That number was part of a season-high nine tackles for loss as well.
