SPRINGFIELD, Mo.- The UIndy men's soccer team fell 1-0 to host Drury in Great Lakes Valley Conference play in its first road contest of the 2014 season Friday night.
The host Panthers (4-1-0; 2-1-0 GLVC) notched the eventual game winner in just the 23rd minute, with Nick Ammann putting away his first goal of the year on an assist from David Cross.
Patrick O'Brien and Daniel Wellman each had a pair of shot for the Greyhounds in the loss, while
Andrew Verhonik made one save on the night in facing 10 Drury shots.
UIndy (0-3-2; 0-2-1 GLVC) heads to Missouri S&T to close out its first GLVC road weekend of the season. First kick with the Miners is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EST.
