HEAR IT FROM THE HOUNDSHead coach
Holly Cox: "We really controlled the game and we were able to bounce back from giving up a tough goal. We fought back and our execution was much better today. We were able to create a lot more opportunities today and their attitude was outstanding even after falling behind by a goal."
Â
"We told them at halftime we had to stick to the game plan and in the second half it paid off. We know that we can come back from being down, but in the future we hope we don't have to. We got both of our goals because we executed well on a pair of free kicks. As a coach, that's what you hope to see from your team."
Â
"The ladies are ready for conference play to start and we think they'll be ready. Everyone comes out with a little more jump in conference play and now we know that we can go on the road and come away with a win. It should be a battle but we're looking forward to it."
UP NEXTThe Greyhounds wrap up a three-game road trip on Friday, Sept. 11, traveling to Romeoville, Ill. for a showdown with Lewis in their GLVC opener. First whistle is set for 6:00 p.m.
