Quincy Hawks (3-3, 1-2) at 5 UIndy Greyhounds (6-0, 3-0)
Saturday, Oct. 14, 6 p.m. ET, Key Stadium

ON TAP
The undefeated and fifth-ranked Greyhounds host the Quincy Hawks Saturday night In their lone home date in October. UIndy will play in Missouri each of the final two Saturdays of the month.

HOUNDS vs. HAWKS
The Hawks represent the final opponent on the 2017 schedule that beat the Hounds last season. After winning the first four meetings with Quincy by an average score of 34-14, the Hawks managed a 33-20 home win versus the Greyhounds last year. UIndy lost four fumbles on the night, leading directly to three Quincy touchdowns.

LAST TIME OUT
In a battle of GLVC leaders last week, UIndy traveled to McKendree University and came away with a 28-10 win against the Bearcats. Freshman Al McKeller led all players with 114 rushing yards, senior Tuwan Payton scored a pair of touchdowns, and Cole Sigmund amassed a career-best 20 tackles.

TACKLE FEST
Sigmund's tackle total was the highest for a Greyhound since 2004 and most by any GLVC player this season. The St. Louis native went on to garner Defensive Player of the Week honors from the conference, his second weekly nod and the Hounds' 10th this season – one shy of the league record of 11 honorees for McKendree in 2016.

HOT HOUNDS
The Greyhounds have now won 10 consecutive games dating back to last season, with the aforementioned 2016 match-up with Quincy marking UIndy's most recent defeat. The school record for consecutive victories is 12, attained by the 1953-54 teams.

UIndy's current 6-0 record represents its best start since 1997. The Greyhounds last started 7-0 in 1973.

RANK & FILE
UIndy has ridden its hot streak all the way to the No. 5 ranking in the latest AFCA Division II Coaches Poll, its highest ever. It has spent the previous three weeks in the top 10, also a program record.

ROAD WARRIORS
For just the third time in conference history, every GLVC game last weekend featured a win by the road team*. UIndy, Southwest Baptist and William Jewell were all victorious on the road versus league opponents. Since the GLVC began sponsoring football in 2012, that has happened on just two other occasions: Oct. 12, 2013 and Oct. 18, 2014.

*minimum three GLVC games in the week

FOR PUNT'S SAKE
Senior Brad Schickel broke off a career-long 65-yard punt in the opening quarter at McKendree, good for the longest punt by a Greyhound since a 68-yard boot by Pavel Polochanin in 2013.

BOOM STICK
Junior kickoff specialist Jacob LaFree has racked up touchbacks at a remarkable rate this season. The Plymouth, Ind., native has 25 touchbacks in just 39 kickoffs (64 percent) through six weeks. In fact, LaFree has a total of 71 touchbacks over the last three seasons, while UIndy as a whole had just 35 in the 11 years prior to his arrival*.

*touchback data available starting in 2004
