SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Indianapolis' men's soccer team lost 3-2 at Drury on Sunday after leading 2-1 in the final minutes.
Dean McConnell opened the scoring, putting Drury ahead in the 23rd minute.
Brett Langley scored the equalizer for the Hounds, taking a pass from
James Jenkins and finishing to the far post on a volley in the 66th minute.
Ten minutes later, freshman
Jakub Olczyk gave UIndy the lead on a ball from deep that found it's way into the net. The Panthers came roaring back, however, drawing level on a deflected ball in the 85th and Charles Guelly scoring the match-winner in the 90th minute to send off the Hounds.
The two teams each had their opportunities, each putting four of nine shots on target. Drury committed 16 fouls while UIndy committed none. Both Olczyk and senior
David Kurz were booked in the game for the Hounds.
