INDIANAPOLIS -
Javier Steinwascher scored two goals in the Indianapolis Greyhounds' 3-0 win over the McKendree Bearcats on Sunday.
The Greyhounds took 20 shots before the Bearcats even got their first attempt off, but they didn't score until their 21st attempt, a 64th-minute strike from Steinwascher to put the Hounds in front.
After Steinwascher's goal, the floodgates opened for the Hounds. Steinwascher scored again in the 86th off an assist from
James Jenkins, then Jenkins added another one minute later to give the Hounds a 3-0 win.
14 of the Hounds' 25 shots were on frame, and goalkeeper
Miles Palmer earned his clean sheet by turning aside McKendree's only shot on target.
