INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Indianapolis Greyhounds' men's soccer team won its fourth straight match on Sunday, a 1-0 win over the visiting Bellarmine Knights.
The Hounds scored early,
James Jenkins giving the Hounds the lead in the 8th minute with an assist from
Benjamin Sierra, and the Hounds led the rest of the way.
The Hounds outshot the visitors 14-11 and put five of their shots on target. Goalkeeper
Miles Palmer picked up the clean sheet, saving the Knights' only shot on target. The Knights had eight corner kicks in the match, but did not turn any of them into goals.\
Jenkins picked up a booking in the 56th minute. The Knights' Jonas Skulstad (48') and Donald Aviles (72') were also carded during the match.
The Hounds remain in second place in the conference with the win, trailing only Rockhurst.
The Hounds will take on Wisconsin-Parkside on the road on Sunday at 12 p.m.
