KENOSHA, Wis. – A 32-30 first-set victory for UIndy volleyball was just the beginning on Tuesday night against Wisconsin-Parkside. The Greyhounds pulled out the road victory in five frames to improve to 7-6 on the season and 2-2 in GLVC action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first set saw a late comeback by UIndy before holding off Wisconsin-Parkside late in the set to earn the win in the intense frame. The Greyhounds cooled off in the second set, but came back firing in the middle frame to gain the 2-1 advantage. After the Rangers forced a fifth and deciding set, the Greyhounds pulled far enough head to fend off the home team, 15-13.

Three Greyhounds recorded double-digit kills during the win.
Julia Kruzan tallied a season-high 14 kills, while
Katie Furlong was also credited with 14 successful attacks.
Anna Fehribach (12) reached double-digits for the first time in two matches, and for the fifth time overall this season.

Olivia Martin had 23 digs on the night, her second-highest mark of her freshman campaign. The Fort Wayne, Ind. native has now recorded at least 13 digs in the past seven matches.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
-It was the first time this season that three players had double-digit kills in a match. The freshman Furlong's 14 kills is a career-high after not recording more than four the last four contests.

Jena Davis (11) joined Martin with double-digit digs in the win, the second time three players have done so this season. Furlong's previous season-high was five, which came last Saturday against Drury. Davis surpassed her season total of nine digs with her 11-spot.

Alexis Waugh and
Alyssa Spears each dished out more than 20 assists for just the third time this season. Waugh has now reached 24 dimes three times in 2017, one short of her season-high. Spears' 21 assists is the sophomore's second-highest mark of her UIndy career.

UIndy continues its four-match road trip Friday night at Quincy and Saturday afternoon at Maryville. The Greyhounds will conclude the away-portion of their schedule before the Midwest Region Crossover next Tuesday at Bellarmine.Â
