Tennis programs plant trees for Keep Indy Beautiful

INDIANAPOLIS- The UIndy men's and women's tennis teams helped to beautify the city by planting trees at Orchard Park during the weekend.

The Greyhound tennis student-athletes worked with Keep Indianapolis Beautiful to plant trees at Orchard Park, with the team saying they really felt they made a difference with the experience.

"This is the most rewarding and interesting project we have ever worked on," Chloe Weihs said. "Our team really enjoyed this volunteering experience!"

The UIndy tennis teams look to the ITA Cup next week, with Nikol Alekseeva and Dario Huber qualifying as singles players. Alekseeva will also play doubles with Anna Novikova, while Huber will also be in the doubles draw with partner Renato Lima.
