INDIANAPOLIS – The Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) released their 2019-20 preseason coaches' poll Wednesday afternoon, the UIndy women's basketball team was picked to finish 11th by conference coaches. The Hounds totaled 87 points in the poll, just two points behind 10th place William Jewell who UIndy beat last season, 66-60.

Laura Thomas and
Emma Benoit. Joining Benoit and Thomas are fellow seniors
Claire Carlton and
Mickey Sasson for their final collegiate seasons as well.

Taylor Drury is back for her third season with the Hounds. The 2018 GLVC All-Freshman team selection led the Greyhounds in three-point percentage (minimum two-attempts per game) last season, shooting nearly 42% from beyond the arc.

Head coach
Kristin Wodrich (fourth season) and the Hounds have a scrimmage against DePauw later this month before traveling crosstown to face DI Butler on November 2nd in Hinkle Fieldhouse. "We are excited to start this season. We play in a tough league and are preparing for the challenge of it daily," said Wodrich.
