Swimming & Diving teams compete for national titles this week

INDIANAPOLIS – The 2019 NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships kick off this week right here in Indianapolis. Co-hosted by UIndy and Indiana Sports Corp, the meet will be held at the world-class IU Natatorium downtown March 12-16.
 
The action starts Tuesday with the diving pre-quals at 10 a.m. ET. Four UIndy divers will be competing for a spot in the finals, as Cassie Kury, Benjamin Rader, Payton Staman and Josh Zylstra all received invitations.
 
The Championships officially begin on Wednesday with the start of swimming preliminaries at 10 a.m., followed by the evening finals at 6 p.m. The schedule remains the same for the next three days, concluding Saturday night when the team national champions are crowned.
