OAKLAND CITY, Ind. Â - The UIndy baseball team concluded their series against the Oakland City Mighty Oaks Wednesday afternoon down in Oakland City. After weather delayed the series finale from last weekend, the Greyhounds were able to get their bats right after the last week of games, winning today by a score of 19-11.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After taking a 3-0 lead in the fourth inning, the Hounds came back with a pair of home runs to open the inning from
Macy Holdsworth and
Kyle Orloff to double their lead to 6-0. The Hounds scored two more runs in the inning on two bases loaded walks from the OCU pitcher. The 8-0 lead did not last long for the Hounds as the Oaks came back with eight runs in the inning to knot things up at 8-8. The offensive momentum for the Hounds carried over to the sixth inning as UIndy score five more runs in the inning including a grand slam for
Devon Hensley to take a 13-8 lead. The Oaks were unable to come back to tie or take the lead as the Greyhounds held onto the lead and won the final game of their series against Oakland City by a final score of 19-11.

-UIndy's 19 runs Wednesday afternoon was their most in a game since last season since scoring 19 in their series finale against Parkside on April 29th.

Devon Hensley led the Hounds with five RBIs each against the Oaks
-Holdsworth went yard for the third time this season, today's dinger was the second time in the team's last three games he has homered for the Hounds.

The Hounds are back into their GLVC schedule this weekend when they travel to Lebanon, Ill., to face McKendree, starting with a doubleheader Saturday.
