Greyhounds drop a spot in new IWLCA rankings

GRAND LAKES, Colo. – The UIndy women's lacrosse team dropped one spot in this week's IWLCA poll, the organization announced on Monday afternoon. The Greyhounds took a hit this past Saturday, dropping its first game of the season at No. 1 Le Moyne.
 
UIndy is now 2-1 to begin the 2019 campaign.
 
The anchor on defense, Riley McClure has caused nine turnovers and picked up seven ground balls through three games. Teammate Darby Smith has also been solid in the stat sheet, recording five caused turnovers and five ground balls.
 
Offensively, Destinie Katz has tallied 17 points this season on seven goals and 10 assists, while Grace Gunneson leads the team with 10 scores.
 
The No. 12 Hounds host Lewis tomorrow night at 5 p.m. in the GLIAC opener.
