PURDUE NORTHWEST 7, INDIANAPOLIS 5
The Pride started off the game quickly by scoring a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning. Their first run came courtesy of a Greyhound wild pitch before scoring on a sacrifice fly just a couple of batters later to up their lead to 2-0. The UIndy bats came to life after struggling to get going last weekend at Oakland City. After scoring runs in both the second and third innings to tie things up at two runs each, the Hounds plated three runs in the fifth to take the 5-2 lead with just a few innings to go. The Pride came right back in the sixth and seventh innings to tie up the game before scoring twice in the eighth inning to take game one against the Hounds. UIndy senior
Macy Holdsworth set a career-high with five hits in the loss, going a perfect 5-for-5 in his plate appearances in game one.

INDIANAPOLIS 6, PURDUE NORTHWEST 0
Jake Sprinkle made his season debut for the Greyhounds in game number two, going five innings only giving up two hits on the afternoon. Sprinkle got some help from the UIndy offense in his debut as they put up six runs, their most since opening weekend when they put up 10 against Parkside just over two weeks ago. UIndy scored in each of the first four innings of the game, scoring three in the third after
Joe Kenney brought home a pair of runs after he singled to short, later coming around to score on a Purdue Northwest throwing error. Kenney's day was not done after the second, coming around to score for the second time in the fourth inning, giving the Hounds a 6-0 lead. The Pride were unable to get anything going on offense in the second game, giving the Hounds their sixth win on the young season.
