INDIANAPOLIS – The day after playing a single game against Bellarmine to close out that season series, the UIndy baseball team returned to action at Greyhound Park with a doubleheader against in-region Ohio Dominican. The Greyhounds split with the Panthers to improve their record to 20-14 on the year.

INDIANAPOLIS 3, OHIO DOMINICAN 0 (7 innings)
The game's only scoring came in the bottom of the sixth inning when
Jake Perreira brought in
Hunter Waning to take the 1-0 lead. The Hounds were not done,
Trey Smith brought in Perreira shortly after with a one out single.
Macy Holdsworth brought in UIndy's third run on a single to left to score
Joe Kenney for the 3-0 lead heading into the game's final inning.
Christian Beard tossed six shutout innings for the Greyhounds, only sacrificing one Panther hit before
Johnny Irish came in in the top of the seventh inning for the save.

OHIO DOMINICAN 11, INDINAPOLIS 10
The Panthers drew first blood with a two-run homerun in the top of the second until the Hounds came back with a three-run jack from
Joe Kenney to take a one-run lead and then extended it to two runs in the four on a Kenney sacrifice fly. The Panthers tied the game at four runs a piece until the Greyhounds came back a run in the bottom of the fifth followed by a big sixth inning to open the game up to 9-4 with just a couple innings to go. Ohio Dominican stormed back in the bottom of the ninth, tying the game on a double to left field with two outs then scored the go-ahead run before winning the game with a play at the plate by a score of 11-10.
