INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy baseball team concluded their series with William Jewell today at Greyhound Park. After taking game one yesterday, the Hounds took game one of today's doubleheader before winning game two as well for the series sweep over the Cardinals.

INDIANAPOLIS 7, WILLIAM JEWELL 3
After falling behind 3-1 after the top of the fifth inning, the Greyhounds used two big inning to take back the lead to come away with the game two win. The Hounds scored three in the bottom half of the fifth inning on a two-run single for
Kyle Orloff before coming around to score on a
Hunter Waning single to take a 4-3 lead into the sixth inning. Orloff came up big in the bottom of the sixth inning when he sent the pitch to National Avenue to bring in
Joe Kenney and
Macy Holdsworth to push the lead to 7-3. Junior
Reid Werner went eight and one-third inning for the Hounds, only giving up two earned runs and no walks before
Johnny Irish came in to close out game one for UIndy.

The Greyhounds led things off with a run in the first inning on a
Devon Hensley sac fly to bring in
Macy Holdsworth who led the game off with a double down the left field line. The Hounds plated their second run of the day on a sacrifice fly in the fourth inning and their third inning came in the seventh inning on a
Macy Holdsworth single.
Jake Sprinkle got the start for UIndy, getting the complete game victory only giving up four hits and fanning 3 in nine innings of work.
