KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – After putting up 40 runs on 44 hits yesterday, the UIndy baseball team wrapped up their series with Truman Saturday afternoon in Missouri. Truman's offense came alive Saturday, ending the Bulldogs' 10-game losing streak beating the Hounds, 15-10.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UIndy took the early lead on Truman, scoring three runs in the first inning.
Isaac Bair hit a home run over the left field fence for his third of the series to give the Hounds the early 3-0 lead. UIndy held onto the lead for a couple of innings before back-to-back big innings from the Truman offense opened up the game from the Bulldogs. Truman put up seven runs in the fourth inning before scoring four more in the fifth inning to lead the Greyhounds 11-3. UIndy's comeback effort began in the sixth inning with a
Tyler Phillips two-run jack to left followed by three more runs in the top of the seventh inning. Truman responded with four runs in the bottom of the seventh to push their lead to 15-8 with two innings to go. The Hounds put up two runs in the eighth, but came up short in the top of the ninth, falling to Truman in game three of the season series, falling to Truman in game three of the season series.

-UIndy finished their series against Truman with 17 total home runs coming from eight different Greyhounds.

Joe Kenney led the Hounds in home runs on the weekend with four home runs on the series with freshman
Isaac Bair notching three home runs on to his season total this weekend as well.
-The Greyhounds finished with 50 total runs in their series with the Bulldogs, their most in a series since putting up 63 runs in three games last year against Wisconsin-Parkside

UIndy returns home for their final non-conference doubleheader of the season this Tuesday when they host Purdue Northwest to finish off the series the two teams started early last month in Hammond. Game number one of Tuesday's twin-bill is slated for a 1 pm ET start.
