KINGSVILLE, Texas – The 2019 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships continued Friday, with senior
Austin Hogan picking up his second All-America award in as many days. The three-day national meet is being held at Javelina Stadium on the campus of Texas A&M University Kingsville in Kingsville, Texas.

Twenty-four hours after placing seventh in the hammer throw, Hogan garnered his second All-America nod of the meet with a top-eight performance in the discus. The hometown product managed a toss of 53.91 meters, good for sixth place. He becomes the first-ever four-time All-American in the event in UIndy men's track & field history.

Katie Monk also competed in the discus. The standout senior thrower placed 12th with a throw of 46.69 meters.

The meet concludes tomorrow, with five Greyhounds in action. Both Monk Hogan are back at it, with their respective shot put events starting at 2:15 p.m. and 6:05 p.m. ET.
Mary Costello will compete in the pole vault at 3:30 p.m., followed by
Mickayla Wenzel in the 1500-meter finals at 6:35 p.m. and
Lauren Bailey running the 5,000 meters at 9:05 p.m. Follow
