ON TAP
The UIndy women's basketball team begins their stint of four-straight road games with a pair of games in Illinois this week. The Hounds will face both Lewis and Illinois Springfield for the second time this season looking to keep momentum in the middle of the conference schedule.

HOUNDS vs. FLYERS
Already having lost to Lewis once this season, UIndy is looking to end a six-game losing streak to the Flyers. The game back just three weeks ago in Nicoson Hall is just one of two games the Greyhounds have lost this year after leading at halftime. Lewis held the Hounds to just over 10 percent shooting in the final quarter as they completed the comeback win after trailing by as much as 13 at one point.

ABOUT LEWIS
The win over the Hounds in Nicoson Hall just after the New Year sparked an eight-game winning streak for Lewis before being snapped just last week against UMSL. The strength of this Flyers team this year has been their ability to win close games. At 12-6 overall, Lewis is 12th in the GLVC in scoring margin at +.3 this season.

Senior forward Rachel Hinders has been one of the best scorers in the GLVC this year, averaging nearly 22 points in conference games this year. Hinders was big in the comeback win over the Greyhounds in the last meeting, scoring 24 on 9-for-17 shooting while making all six of her free throw attempts. Dajae Black and Kaitlin Williams also finished in double figures to back up Hinders. Two reserves came off the bench to aid the Lewis starters as Katie Gardner scored 11 points and Morgan Glatczak recorded seven rebounds while blocking seven shots in her 20 minutes off the pine.

HOUNDS vs. PRAIRIE STARS
Another opponent the Greyhounds have already faced this season, UIndy held UIS to 35 percent shooting in the game despite only shooting 37 percent from the field themselves. The Hounds won the game from the free throw line, shooting 35 times from the stripe, the most in a game in nearly five years. UIndy and UIS have only played each other 10 times all-time with the Greyhounds winning nine of those contests. The lone loss to the Prairie Stars came last season on the road.

ABOUT ILLINOIS SPRINGFIELD
After losing to UIndy just a few weeks ago, UIS came back just five days later to secure their first GLVC win against William Jewell. The Prairie Stars got their second win of conference play just last week against Missouri-St. Louis who beat UIndy two weeks ago. UIS does rank as one of the best defensive teams in the conference this season, holding their opponents to just under 39 percent shooting per game this year.

UIS has just one player who ranks in the top-10 in the GLVC in scoring this year in sophomore guard Lauren Ladowski. The 5-7 guard averages 15 points a night this year while also being second in rebounding at five boards a game. The Prairie Stars might not light up the scoreboard every night, but they do have a number of reserves that contribute on a nightly basis with six players who have played in 15 or more games this season.

BEING EFFICIENT
UIndy's +4.5 scoring margin in good for 4th in the GLVC, but the Greyhounds have bucked the three-point trend on their way to winning. The three-point shot has become a big part across basketball in past years. Despite a 13-5 record, UIndy's offense has come from inside the arc as the Hounds rank nearly 300th in Division II in three-pointers attempted as the Hounds sport an efficient offense.

HOT START
After Monday night's win at Bellarmine, UIndy has surpassed their win total from a season ago and on track to beat their number of wins in a season under Coach Wodrich that they set in her first season with 17 wins.

SEEING DOUBLE
UIndy has seen success so far this season, proving to have one of the better frontcourts in the region. The front court of Emma Benoit, Dasia Evans, and McKenzy Telfair have combined for four double-doubles so far this season. Benoit was the first one of the year when she went for 16 points and 20 rebounds against Davenport and she is also the most recent one going for 10 and 10 off the bench in the win over Southwest Baptist

PLAYING BOTH ENDS
The Greyhounds efficient offense has them as one of the best teams in the GLVC in terms of field goal percentage this season, shooting at a 44.1% clip. UIndy also gets in done on the defensive end, holding their opponents to 36.4% shooting, tops in the GLVC.

LOCKDOWN D
UIndy has been consistently holding their opponents in tact this season including in the three games they have lost. The Hounds the only GLVC team to hold each of their opponents under 50 percent shooting every game this season.

SWAT TEAM
The Hounds are second in the GLVC in blocks this year, totaling 80 rejections on the season. Emma Benoit leads the way with 23 blocks while McKenzy Telfair trails Benoit by one with 22 blocks this year. Both Benoit and Telfair are top 10 in the conference in blocks in the GLVC.

CALL IN THE RESERVES
One of the strengths so far for the Greyhounds this season has been the help from their bench. After losing only two to graduation and one to a transfer after last year, plenty of experience returned for Kristin Wodrich this year. The Hounds only have one player who ranks in the top 20 of the conference in minutes played this season with Laura Thomas playing just over 31 minutes a game.

CLEANING THE GLASS
Having one of the best front courts in the region has paid off for the Greyhounds this season. The team's +4.7 rebounding differential is good for third in the GLVC, but UIndy has not lost a game this year when they out-rebound their opponent, going 10-0 in those games.

REACHING MILESTONES
Closing out the win against Southwest Baptist last weekend, UIndy head coach Kristin Wodrich earned her 50th win as the head coach of the Hounds. Wodrich is now sixth all-time in UIndy history for number of wins.

LAST TIME OUT
The Hounds surpassed their 2018-19 win total in their win over Southwest Baptist Saturday afternoon in Nicoson Hall. Laura Thomas scored a season-high 28 points in the win while Emma Benoit came off the bench so record her third double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 boards.
