CSCAA Recognizes UIndy with Academic Team Honors

NORFOLK, Va. – For the fifth-straight year, the UIndy swimming & diving teams were recognized by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) on Thursday as Fall Scholar All-American Teams. The men were one of 300 men's teams chosen across all NCAA Divisions with a team GPA of 3.24, while the women were one of 470 NCAA women's teams with a 3.62 GPA.

The Greyhounds not only represented the NCAA well, but also within Division II's Top-25 rankings. The men's team GPA ranked 12th overall between current DII Top-25 teams, while the women were slotted with the fourth highest GPA within their Top 25.

Both teams are also currently ranked within the top three in Division II athletically. The men hold steady in the top spot, while the women stay strong with the third-ranked spot for two-straight polls this season. Both teams will be eyeing for the GLVC title in two weeks, where the men search for a three-peat while the women want to win their first in program history. The meet is scheduled on Feb. 12-15 in nearby Crawfordsville, Ind.
