LIBERTY, MO - Playing in their first road match in two weeks, the University of Indianapolis volleyball team got back in the win column with a 3-1 GLVC victory at William Jewell.  The win put the Hounds at 9-8 on the year and 5-3 in conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hounds won the first two sets, both by a score of 25-14.  UIndy posted a hitting percentage of 0.289 in the second set after totaling 14 kills on 38 attacks.  Tied at eight in the second set, the Hounds erupted for six straight points to take a 14-8 lead.  Elizabeth Eads closed out the run with three straight kills.

William Jewell fought off the sweep and stole the third set 26-24.  A decisive fifth set was on the horizon as the Cardinals led 25-24 in the fourth, but the Hounds quickly silenced William Jewell.  Hannah Huppenbauer, Lauren Cullison and Hannah Sabotin combined for three straight kills to win the set 27-26 and win the match 3-1.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Grace Hegwood posted a career best 18 kills while adding 15 digs.
- Eads and Cullison also finished in double digit kills with 15 and 11 respectively.
- Alex Equihua recorded a double-double with 45 assists and 16 digs.
