INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis men's soccer team netted three goals on a chilly night at Key Stadium to earn a spot in the Great Lakes Valley Conference championship match this Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Greyhounds gained an early advantage in the match in just the ninth minute. Near the net off a corner kick,
Caleb Mundell caught his own rebounded shot attempt and fired one to the opposite side past a diving goalkeeper.

Drury added the equalizer in the 25th minute before the Hounds raced ahead once again. Off another corner attempt,
Patryk Olczyk collected a floated ball in the 31st minute and tapped it in for the second goal of the match for UIndy.

Rolling into the second half,
Owen Atkison gave the Greyhounds some breathing room when he netted a rebound off a shot attempt from
Alejandro Steinwascher. This goal proved to be the difference maker because the Panthers added what would be the final goal in the 62nd minute.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
-Continuing the trend of strong offense, UIndy managed 19 total shots while Drury has just three in return.
-The pressure was high towards the net as the Greyhounds had 11 corner kicks compared to just two from the Panthers.
-A total of 18 fouls were called this evening with UIndy leading the the way at 12.

With the win tonight, the Greyhounds move into the GLVC championship match on Sunday. They will battle Illinois Springfield in a match that is set to kickoff at 2:30 p.m. ET at Key Stadium.
