ASHLAND, Ohio – The University of Indianapolis women's basketball team fell to the No. 8 Ranked Ashland Eagles, 59-45 on Saturday afternoon.

Sadie Hill led the Hounds with 11 points, six rebounds, and an assist. Â She was followed by
Mickey Sasson with 10 points, six rebounds, and a steal, Sasson shot 100 percent from field goal range. Â

Ilani Williams-Harris jumper and a Knobloch layup back-to-back would put the Greyhounds up 17-to-13 over the Eagles to end the first quarter.

An Eagles 20-point second quarter would put Ashland up and half. Despite a furious fourth quarter run by the Greyhounds, putting the Hounds within 10 of the Eagles, they were unable to stop the nationally ranked Ashland.

The Eagles were led by Hallie Heidemann who posted 13 points, six rebounds, and two assists.
