INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis volleyball program added a member to its 2022 class this week, announced by head coach Jason Reed this afternoon. Joining the Greyhound family is Erica Eads, the younger sister of current Greyhound Elizabeth Eads.
A two-time offensive player of the year, Eads has three sectional championships, two conference championships, two county championships and one regional championship. A right-side hitter from Rancalli High School, she is also an academic All-State selection.
"We are so thrilled to add Erica to our group. She has been around the program for a while and knows what it will take to play at this level," commented Reed. "Erica will work hard for us and we really look forward to see what she will bring to the gym. We're excited for the future and are eager to watch Erica develop and make our gym better."
Erica joins her older sister Elizabeth Eads on the UIndy volleyball team. Their father, Eric Eads, played football at UIndy in the early 90's.
