LEXINGTON, Ky. - The UIndy volleyball team earned the 2026 AVCA Team Academic Award, the organization announced Thursday.

UIndy was one of 1,432 programs spanning both collegiate and high school levels across the country to be recognized. Today's announcement marks the fourth time in the last five years that UIndy has achieved the benchmark.

In order to be recognized for the AVCA Team Academic Award, the team must maintain a minimum 3.3 GPA over the course of the 2025-26 academic year.

The Greyhounds, who were one win away from the Elite Eight last fall, return to action on August 28 for the UIndy Invitational.
