INDIANAPOLIS – The postseason awards continue to roll in for the UIndy women's soccer team with three Greyhounds earning 2021 D2CCA NCAA Division II All-Midwest Region honors. The senior trio of Kiki Sauceda, Taylor Peck and Dana Youssef were all named to the First Team, with Sauceda also earning the title of Midwest Region Player of the Year.

Sauceda had a stellar season in 2021, pacing the team with 15 goals, including a pair of hat tricks.  The San Bernadino, Calif., native netted six game winners while tallying 33 points on the year.  Sauceda was named the GLVC Offensive Player of the Week twice this season. She adds to her All-GLVC First Team selection from this fall as well as a All-GLVC Third Team selection from the 2021 spring season.

Last week, Youssef was named the GLVC Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight season. The graduate student anchored a UIndy defense that allowed just nine goals in league play with a 0.64 goals against average. Offensively the Monchengladback, Germany native tallied four assists in the regular season while taking 15 shots.

Peck brings home her second career All-Midwest Region nod. The Oswego, Ill., native picked up All-GLVC First Team honors this year after starting in 16 games for the Hounds. The midfielder scored three goals on the season, two of which were game winners, while also tallying one assist.

The D2CCA Player of the Year award and all-region teams are nominated and selected by the region's sports information directors. The 13 members of the All-Midwest Region First Team will now be placed on the national ballot for All-America consideration.
