INDIANAPOLIS –
Sadie Hill scored 25 points and had nine rebounds in the Greyhounds first win of the season against Lake Erie. The Hounds shot their best game of the season thus far with 57 percent from the field in the 85-54 win.
With energy surging through the Hounds bench, five players took the energy and turned it into double digits in points. Including freshman,
Elana Wells whose back-to-back three's caused Nicoson Hall to erupt.
Shira Sasson also made a major impact with 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists.
Defensively, the Greyhounds forced 14 turnovers, and held the Storm to only 36 percent from the field, and 28 percent from behind the arc. Three Greyhound's earned two steals.
The Storm was led by Breanna Bauer who had 16 points and five rebounds.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
-The Hounds had 31 bench points, while the Storm had seven.
-UIndy had it's lowest turnovers of the season with 16.
-Hitting 17 out of 21 shots from three, the Hounds shot 55.6 percent.
