INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis women's soccer team has been ranked number six in the most recent edition of the NCAA DII Midwest Regional Rankings according to the official announcement on Wednesday.
The Greyhounds are topped by only one GLVC team, McKendree, who holds just two more wins than the Hounds and holds the five spot while other DII powerhouses such as Grand Valley and Ashland hold the top four seeds.
The top eight teams from the Midwest Region will earn a berth into the NCAA tournament. Postseason action is set to begin with the first round kicking off on Nov. 18 and No. 19 at the higher-seed's respective campus.
