BLOOMINGTON – The University of Indianapolis women's basketball team kicked off their season at the legendary Assembly Hall as they faced the No. 7 Indiana Hoosiers in an exhibition match. The Greyhounds fell 97-43 to the 2021 Elite Eight team on Friday night. 
 
Sadie Hill scored the first points of the season early in the first quarter and continued to lead the Greyhounds offensively going three for seven from field goal range, posting nine total points, one assist, and two rebounds.
 
Mya Scheidt also made an impact offensively with five points, two assists, and two rebounds.
 
The Hoosiers were led by Mackenzie Holmes who posted 19 points, seven rebounds, and went 8-10 from field goal range. She was followed by Ali Patberg who posted 14 points, two rebounds, and three assists.
