INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis women's soccer team fell in the Great Lakes Valley Conference championship tournament quarterfinal today, 1-0 to the University of Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles.
Both teams came to win and played as such throughout the entirety of the match, the Hounds and Eagles were very evenly matched with UIndy having earned the No. 4 seed while the USI had to No. 5 seed.
Offensively the Greyhounds were led by
Taylor Peck who posted two shots, both of which were on goal.
Sophia Saucerman manned the goal for the entirety of the match.
The Eagles were led by Jill DiTusa who posted three shots and scored the lone goal of the match.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
-UIndy posted 11 shots, while the Eagles had nine.
-USI earned five corner kick opportunities, while the Hounds had four.
-There was a total of 13 fouls on the Hounds, and 12 on USI.

The Greyhounds will await the NCAA DII Midwest Regional selection to await their postseason fate. The Division II Selection Show is scheduled to air on Monday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.
