Drury Posts Double-Double in Triple OT Loss

WESTVILLE, Ind. – The University of Indianapolis women's Basketball team fell in a triple overtime match to Purdue – Northwest on Saturday afternoon, 80-82.
 
Taylor Drury earned her first double-double of the season with 23 points and 11 rebounds. She went 41.2% from the field and nailed three of seven shots from behind the arc.
 
Along with Drury, four other Hounds notched double digits. Sadie Hill, Elana Wells, Lauren With, and Marissa Knobloch earned major numbers for the Hounds.
 
Knobloch proved for the second time this season that she is indeed as clutch as they come, nailing 50 percent of her shots from three-point range, including a deep three to tie the Hounds up in the end of the third overtime.
 
The Hounds kicked off the first half by ending the first half up 34-28. Purdue-Northwest came out swinging to start the second half by shooting 40 percent from the field, then followed it up with a 15-point fourth quarter.
 
Dash Shaw led the Pride with 26 points.
 
After three nail biting overtimes, the Greyhounds dropped their seventh game on a buzzer beating Layup by the Pride.

-Both teams posted 18 points off the bench.
-The Hounds committed 18 turnovers, while the Pride had 16.
-UIndy drew 22 fouls and committed 30.
 
UP NEXT

The Greyhounds will be back at home on Monday afternoon where they will host Indiana University – Kokomo at 1 p.m. ET before heading into the Holiday break.
