INDIANAPOLIS - Marissa Knobloch scored 17 points in shooting over 62 percent from three in the Greyhounds 70- 43 win over Indiana University – Kokomo on Monday afternoon in Nicoson Hall.
The Greyhounds shot over 50 percent percent from three and made 53 percent of their shots from field goal range in downing the Cougars. With 31 points coming off the bench,
Lauren With followed Knobloch, who hit five back-to-back threes in the first quarter, with 15 points and
Liv Becker posted her first double digit game with 13 points.
The Greyhounds had their best defensive game of the season holding the Cougars to 20 percent from behind the arc and earned 23 defensive rebounds. In forcing 15 turnovers among the Cougars,
Taylor Drury and
Elana Wells notched a pair of steals a piece.
Vanessa Mullins led the Cougars with nine points, while Tia Chambers had seven steals.
