LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of Indianapolis volleyball team entered the national top 20 this week, jumping seven spots from last week the AVCA Division II Coaches Poll to No. 18. The Greyhounds are coming off two home wins this past weekend, sweeping both Drury and Maryville,
3-0.
Freshman
Natalie Thom leads the Greyhounds with 126 assists, while Junior
Alex Equihua has recently taking a larger place in the lineup. The two setters have set the Hounds up for a total of 209 kills this season, averaging 12.3 per set. Sophomore
Emma Jones posted big numbers for UIndy in both of their weekend matches, while senior
Katie Furlong continues to lead the team in kills with 56 on the season.
The Hounds will travel to St. Louis this weekend on Feb. 27 to take on Missouri-St. Louis (11 a.m. ET) and Rockhurst (2 p.m. ET).
