Peck's Game Winner Leads Hounds to Third OT Win

INDIANAPOLIS – A header in the 109th minute from Taylor Peck sent the ball straight into the top left corner of the Rockhurst goal. Within moment, Kiki Sauceda and Maria Herrero jumped into Peck's arms with glee. After two overtimes, the Hounds took their sixth win and their third overtime win this season.
 
The Greyhounds defeated the Hawks 1-0 to bring the #19 ranked team's record to 6-1-1 for the 2020-21 campaign.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Greyhounds outshot the Hawks 13 to 18, posting seven shots on goal. Peck and Herrero both contributed three shots, while Elena Espinosa had a whopping five attempts. While Herroro, Espinosa, and Alexi Hardie contributed two shots on goal each.

Sophia Saucerman manned the goal for all 109 minutes for the Hounds, earning a clean sheet with four saves.
 
Rockhurst was led by Elle Kimball who contributed one shot on goal off of three attempts.
 
 INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
-The Hounds earned seven corner kicks to the Hawks three.
-UIndy drew seven fouls during the match, while Rockhurst brought out five from the Hounds.
-The Hawk's goalkeeper, Megan Meyers contributed six saves.
-Rockhurst earned one yellow card during the match.
