INDIANAPOLIS – The University of Indianapolis Women's Soccer team dropped their first match in three weeks on Friday to Maryville at Key Stadium.

Laura Shake. "They knew who they were coming into play,"
The Greyhounds were beat by the Saints in shots and corner kicks being out shots 12 to five, with Maryville posting five shots on goal, adding to their advantage Maryville had six corner kicks while the Hounds had two.
Maryville scored the first and only goal of the match in the 32:29 mark, when Mary Gentry scored on a kick to the Greyhounds left side goal.
The match was filled with physicality with on both ends, with the Saints committing 16 fouls and UIndy with eight.
Maddy Theis led the Hounds on the stat board, with three shots on goal, off of four attempts. While
Taylor Peck and
Elena Espinosa also contributed two shots each.
Katie Nash took the win in goal for the Saints, adding five saves in her 90 minutes.
