Men's Tennis Claims At Large Bid to NCAA Regional

INDIANAPOLIS - The University of Indianapolis men's tennis team is NCAA Tournament bound after earning an at-large bid to the Midwest Regional.  The Hounds claimed the No. 1 seed with a 16-3 record on the year to make their 14th NCAA Tournament appearance.

UIndy doesn't know their opponent quite yet.  As the only Regional with five teams competing, the Hounds await the winner of Saturday's 4-seed versus 5-seed match up.  UIndy will take on the winner of No. 4 Hillsdale (15-2) vs. No. 5 Illinois-Springfield (11-4) at 11 am ET on Sunday.

The Midwest bracket is rounded out with the match up of No. 2 seed Southwest Baptist (17-8) vs. No. 3 seed Ferris State (15-0).  The Regional Championship will take place at 11 am on Monday, May 10.  All matches will be played at the Midland Community Tennis Center in Midland, MI.
