CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Thursday released its list of the NCAA's highest team grade point averages, with the Greyhounds ranking 10th among all Division II programs with an impressive 3.802 GPA.
Bolstered by three
WGCA All-American Scholars, UIndy was one of only three teams in the top 10 that also advanced to the quarterfinals of the
NCAA DII Championships. It was also one of five GLVC schools in the top 20 – Missouri-St. Louis (2nd), William Jewell (12th), Lindenwood (17th) and Rockhurst (19th). See the link above for the complete list.
The WGCA has recognized the top team GPAs annually, but this marks just the fourth year that the organization has split the honorees up by division, as previously only an overall top-25 list was published. The Hounds ranked in the DII top 25 each of the previous three years (11th in 2017-18, 13th in 2018-19, 23rd in 2019-20) after appearing in the overall NCAA top 25 seven of the 12 years prior to the split.
