SPRINGFIELD, IL – The University of Indianapolis volleyball team suffered a four-set loss on Friday at the hands of Illinois Springfield in Great Lakes Valley Conference action.  The loss puts the Hounds at 6-6 overall and 2-1 in GLVC play.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- The Hounds served up eight aces on the night led by Grace Hegwood with three.
- Hegwood also led the Hounds with 14 kills followed by Hannah Huppenbauer at 12 and Elizabeth Eads at 11.
- Alex Equihua dished out 43 assists on the night.
- MaKenna Barnhart paced the defense with 19 digs, followed closely by Madi Rosenberger with 18.

The Hounds return home next week for four straight matches in the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center.  UIndy takes on Lewis on Tuesday at 7 ET followed by Lindenwood on Friday and Quincy on Saturday.
