INDIANAPOLIS - A corner kick by Dana Youssef in the 63rd minute landed in prime position. After being batted at between the Ohio Dominican Panthers and the Hounds, it found Kiki Sauceda who in one swift movement scored her fourth goal of the season, securing the 1-0 win for the Greyhounds.
 
Sauceda and transfer Maddie Barkow led the charge in the UIndy win, together taking six shots and landing two on goal. Uma Yadav, Alexi Hardie, and Maria Herrero also posted a shot on goal, bringing the Greyhounds shot on goal total to five, while the Panthers only had two.
 
"It's gritty. It's a battle," said Head Coach Holly Cox. "It's about who wants it more; who creates the opportunity to put the ball in the net."
 
Jenna Taghikhani made two saves in her 90 minutes as the Greyhounds goalkeeper.
 
The Panthers were led by goalkeeper Kaitlin Grady, who had three saves in 45 minutes played, and Samantha Buck had two shots and landed one on goal.
