ROLLA, Mo. – Three Greyhounds landed in double digits points on Monday night in the Greyhounds downing the Missouri S&T Miners 76-74.
Mickey Sasson led the charge with 14 points, followed by
Taylor Drury and
Shira Sasson who had 12.
HOW IT HAPPENED
After scoring only nine points in the second quarter and being down by five to go into the half, the Hounds posted a 64% field goal range third quarter and scored 28 points. Carrying the momentum into the fourth to take the close win from the Mines.
The Greyhounds defensively ruled the court with 37 boards to Missouri S&T's 18, led by
Taylor Drury and
Liz Alsot who both had six.
The Miners were led by Kristen Keys who posted 21 points and two assists.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
-The Hounds shot their best game of the season, topping their last game, in shooting just under 56 percent.
-UIndy had 21 turnovers and forced eight.
-Indianapolis scored 40 points in the paint and had 26 points off the bench.
