INDIANAPOLIS– The University of Indianapolis baseball team has been selected at No. 4 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Blue Division Preseason Poll, officials announced on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds collected 17 points to sit in a tie with Lewis in the rankings. The Blue Division is led by Illinois Springfield, who managed 36 points and six first-place votes. Over in the Green Division, Lindenwood took the top spot with 48 points and six first-place votes.
Entering his fourth season as head coach,
Al Ready led the Greyhounds to a 23-21 overall record last season and a 19-13 mark in the GLVC. UIndy will open the season at home against Notre Dame College on Friday, Feb. 18 at 2 p.m.
