Ella DeSmet, who scored her first career goal as Greyhound.
INS AND OUTS
The Panthers jumped out early on the attack, sending their first shot on goal at the 6th minute, which happened to also be the first goal of the contest. The Greyhounds didn't let that lead last long as DeSmet had a milestone day. With a pass by
Kiki Sauceda right into the center of the box, DeSmet sent the ball deep into the left side of the net for her first career goal.
The Hounds saw several more offensive opportunities in the first half, none finding their way into the back of the net. The Panthers fought hard in the box, drawing a key penalty kick at the 33rd minute of the first half, that ended up as the second goal for the Panthers. The Panthers kept the momentum in their favor deep in the second half, stifling the Greyhounds opportunities. They put the nail in the coffin with another goal at the 85th minute.
