INDIANAPOLIS – The UIndy volleyball team (11-6, 4-2 GLVC) upped its win streak to four on Friday evening, dropping the visiting William Jewell Cardinals (8-12, 1-6 GLVC) in four sets from Dr. Sue Willey Court inside the Ruth Lilly Fitness Center.

Elizabeth Eads highlighted the Greyhound attack, finishing with a season-high 15 kills on .478 hitting from the middle. Defensively, libero
MaKenna Barnhart recorded a season-best 27 digs, while
Hannah Sabotin totaled nine blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UIndy held the Jewell attack to a paltry -.0134 percentage in the first two sets, but could only manage to snag the opener to head into the third frame knotted at one apiece.

The offense came alive thereafter, hitting .387 in the third game, which included 16 kills as a unit.
Grace Hegwood tallied five of her 12 putaways in the frame, while Eads knocked down four.

The final set played similarly, with four Greyhounds recording four kills in the fourth.
Kayla Guthrie was in on the action, as was Sabotin, who finished with nine on the night. UIndy scooped up 20 of Jewell's attack in the fourth frame, with Barnhart (8) and
Lauren Peal (6) combining for 14.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Eads' 15 kills marks the third time this season the senior has finished in double figures, and the first since Sept. 2 against Bentley.
- Friday was the fourth contest this fall in which Barnhart has surpassed 20 scoops. UIndy is 4-0 in those matches.
- Peal tacked on six digs in the final frame, finishing with a season-high 12 in the victory. The sophomore also added an assist against the Cardinals, passing to a motivated
Claire Morris on a setter dump in the opening set.
- Sabotin also finished with a season-high nine blocks, including a pair of solo stops. The junior middle recorded nine kills, including six in the final two sets.
