Greyhounds Enter Top 20 in First Coaches Poll of Regular Season

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The UIndy men's basketball has re-entered national prominence after a fast 3-0 start to the 2022-23 season, with the first regular season poll from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) slotting the Greyhounds at No. 20.

This marks the first time since March 9, 2020, the Greyhounds have been listed among DII's best, when they finished the season ranked No. 15. Fellow GLVC members Southwest Baptist (22) and Missouri-St. Louis (24) join UIndy in the national rankings.

In addition, the Greyhounds are ranked No. 10 in the weekly D2SIDA national poll, while topping the Midwest Region. Great Midwest member Hillsdale is one spot behind UIndy at No. 11.

Each of UIndy's wins have come of the regional variety, the most recent of which happened Sunday in a 72-66 thriller at Grand Valley. Kendrick Tchoua nearly recording his first double-double of the winter, finishing with 12 points and nine rebounds.
