Balanced Attack Leads UIndy Over Lake Erie

PAINESVILLE, OH – A total of 10 Greyhounds found the back of the net on Sunday as the No. 5 University of Indianapolis men's lacrosse team posted a 13-7 road win over Lake Erie College.  The wins marks the fourth consecutive season that UIndy has started 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hounds wasted no time getting on the board as Jack Sullivan scored on UIndy's first possession of the game.  After a man-up goal from the Storm, Brian Robb and Drew Billig combined for three straight unassisted goals to put the Hounds ahead 4-1 after one.

Lake Erie netted goals less than 20 seconds apart to pull within one but their momentum was halted after a goal from Kyle Basch on the assist from James Whiteford.  Billig, Auyer and Nathan Lam combined to score three goals in a 90-second span to give the Hounds an 8-5 lead at the break.

UIndy notched a pair of goals in the third from Parker Johnson and Matt Schoeneck to go up 10-6.  Wyatt Auyer and Connor O'Brien scored 44 seconds apart to put the game out of reach for Lake Erie.  Bren Jamieson scored the final goal for the Hounds, marking his first goal as a Greyhound.
